ROI calculator

What is the admin drag costing you?

Two numbers from you. The calculator shows what re-keying, chasing and assembling packs costs your office over a year, and what it would be worth if a first workflow took 60 to 80 per cent of it away. Your figures, our arithmetic: not a quote and not a promise.

hours a week, whole office
Add up everyone in the office. One person re-typing orders for an hour a day is five hours a week on its own.
£an hour
Salary plus employer costs, divided by hours worked. £20 to £30 an hour is typical for an office role in the South East.

Arithmetic: hours a week × 46 working weeks × your hourly cost. The 60 and 80 per cent figures are assumptions, not promises: the range a first workflow is designed around.

01

Count the hours

Re-keying orders, chasing suppliers for dates, chasing customers for purchase orders, pulling drawings and prices together for a quote, assembling certificates and compliance packs job by job.

02

Put a cost on them

Use the fully loaded hourly cost of the people doing the work, not the headline salary: pay, employer National Insurance, pension and overheads, divided by the hours actually worked.

03

Decide what stays with a person

The aim is to take out the copying and the waiting, not the people. The judgement, the relationships and the sign-offs stay with your team.
