Practical AI for industrial companies
Quotes take days. Orders get typed in twice.
And the one person who knows how it all fits together never gets a day off.
- Human in the loop, always
- 27 AI agents, tested on our own business first
- No plans built on cutting staff
Where the office gets stuck
Is your business facing this problem?
We work with companies that make, fix, build, move or supply things, where most people are on the shop floor, on site or on the road, and a small office carries the paperwork for everyone else.
We work with the tools you already use, for example Sage, Xero, Excel and Simpro. The full list
- Enquiries sit in one inbox while the clock runs.
- Quotes wait on drawings, material prices and machine time, pulled together by hand.
- Orders arrive by email, then get typed in again.
- Suppliers are chased for delivery dates by whoever remembers.
- Credit control happens when somebody finds the time.
How we work
Start with the work, not the technology.
-
Find the friction
We follow one process from enquiry to invoice and note where it waits.
-
Design the change
A short, plain-English plan: what changes, what stays, and who approves.
-
Build, test and hand over
Built inside your current systems, run alongside the old way, then owned by your team.

Our approach
How a first project works
Lawton Consulting International was founded in 2026, so we have no client results to show yet. Here is how we would run a first project with you.
Free consultation
A conversation with James about the software you run today, how it connects up, and which of your processes are already mapped.
A fixed-price first project
We scope one process, such as quotes or order entry, then agree the price and what “done” means before any work starts.
Build and test
Your team is involved throughout, trying it on real jobs. Nothing goes live until the person who owns that process has approved it.
Hand-over
Your team takes over, then we measure time saved against a baseline taken at the start.
We run our own office the same way. Lawton’s research, CRM, compliance screening and diary are handled by 27 AI agents, with a person approving each step that matters. That is a sales and admin office, not a shop floor, but the controls are the ones we would bring to yours. See the logs and an interview from James's earlier work.
